5 days, 4 nights in the Lyngen area
Arrival to Tromsø is recommended one night before the tour starts, as the bus departure is early in the morning.
Our recommendation for the evening program:
OPTION: 19:30-00:30 (approx.) Chasing the northern Lights, NLT Guide Company
This evening excursion departs from downtown Tromsø, but the direction we drive depends on the latest weather forecast and will be decided right before departure. When we find the perfect spot, we park the minibus and wait for the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) to appear. On this exclusive chase, the maximum group size is 16 guests. Seeing the Northern Lights appear for the first time is a magical experience you will remember for the rest of your life. The guide will take high-resolution photos of the chase, which will be shared free of charge after the tour and helps guests with their own camera. As northern lights are a natural phenomenon, we can’t offer any guarantees. However, given our experience and the flexible nature of this small group chase, most of our chases are successful.
The tour price includes transport, guiding, hot drink, biscuits, a warm thermal suit and free high-resolution photos from the chase.
Departure point: Touristshop Tromsø, Kirkegata 2, in downtown Tromsø*.
* Please note that before the tour guests can wait inside the heated shop and use the toilet facilities.
* Please note that the minimum age for this tour is 8 years old. (tour is not included in the package.
